Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor or associate degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline required PLUS a minimum 3-5 years of combined work experience in a corporate headquarters environment supporting multiple branch locations and a high volume of transactional activities
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills, detail oriented, and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting management information system applications.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline sensitive environment.
- Ability to work standard five-day work schedule, including daily overtime, and occasional weekend hours as necessary.

Staff Accountant-FLW

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Staff Accountant based on premises at our corporate headquarters in Flowood. We offer excellent pay, rock solid benefits, and a legendary company culture.
The Staff Accountant is responsible to execute a variety of general ledger account record maintenance and reconciliation activities involving primarily machine inventory accounts. In addition, the position is accountable to execute related clerical activities that support overall finance and accounting operations.
Essential Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly schedules and journal entries during the month end close process.
- Assist in the processing of machine inventory in the Company’s inventory management system.
- Provide supporting assistance in various other departmental duties including, cash receipts and accounts payable posting, fixed asset processing and general audit assistance.
- Perform related duties and support special project activities as assigned.
- Post transactions related to the Company’s sales into the general ledger system on an ad-hoc basis.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
